Broiled Shrimp Scampi

Serves 6-8 people


  • 2-3 pound shrimp, large or jumbo, peeled deveined, tail on
  • Salt and pepper
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 6-8 cloves garlic
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped


Preheat broiler. Arrange shrimp in rows in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
In a sauté pan melt butter over medium heat. Stir in garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden brown, then pour over shrimp.

Place shrimp under broiler until shrimp is pink and firm to the touch, approximately 10-12 minutes. Finish with squeeze of lemon and sprinkle with parsley.
