Caribbean Lemonade

Serves 4-6 people


  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 fresh limes, juiced
  • 4-6 dashes Angostura bitters (found at most liquor or grocery stores)
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Rum, optional


  1. In a small pot, bring water and sugar to a light simmer until sugar is dissolved. Pour into a pitcher.
  2. Add in lemon and lime juice and bitters. Stir in cold water and ice. Serve chilled.
